Move in and move out cleaning

Move in and move out cleaning covering floors, cupboards and grout

When a tenancy ends or begins, the spaces that matter most are the ones out of sight: inside wall-mounted units, behind appliances, under baseboards, and along grout lines. This service covers every point a landlord walks through.

  • Inside cupboards and appliances
  • Inspected room by room
  • Empty homes and villas
  • No missed landlord checkpoints

Why the handover clean is different from a regular deep clean

A standard clean passes over cupboard shelves and the gap behind the fridge. A move-out inspection does not. Landlords typically check inside every cabinet, the AC filters, bathroom grout lines, and the areas behind large appliances. Leaving any of these unaddressed is the most common reason a deposit is disputed or a new tenant finds the home unacceptable on arrival.

  • Protecting the deposit on departure

Landlords look at specific spots: grout lines, inside the fridge, the oven, and the AC filters. Addressing exactly those points before handover removes the most common grounds for deductions.

  • Arriving to a genuinely clean home

The previous tenant's clean may not have reached behind the stove or inside the extractor hood. A thorough move-in service removes what the outgoing occupant may have missed or ignored.

  • Preparing a unit for new tenants

A property that changes occupants needs every surface reset, not just the visible ones. Cupboard interiors, shower grout and concealed dust near AC vents affect how the home presents on viewing day.

  • After renovation dust settles everywhere

Fine construction dust coats every horizontal surface, settles into grout and lines the inside of cabinets. A staged approach removes it in the correct order: coarse debris first, fine dust second, glass and fittings last.

Everything included in this service

Every item below is covered as part of the standard service, from the first room survey to the final walkthrough.

  1. crew surveys each empty room

  3. scrub oven and fridge interiors

  7. scrub and mop bare floors

Once all elevated and wall work is complete, bare floors are scrubbed and mopped. Hard-to-reach areas under radiators and in corners are included.

  8. crew checks each room before leaving

crew checks each room before leaving

Before leaving, the crew checks each room against the opening survey, flags anything needing a second pass, and confirms the property is ready for handover.

How the service runs, start to finish

The service moves the property from its current condition to one ready for a landlord inspection or new occupant.

  1. Property survey and scope

The crew walks every room before unpacking equipment, noting the condition of walls, grout, appliances and concealed spaces. This sets the order of work.

  2. High and concealed surfaces first

Cupboard interiors, appliance interiors, wall marks and AC filters are addressed before floor-level work begins. Working top to bottom prevents resettling dust from undoing completed areas.

  3. Floor and baseboard finish

Floors are scrubbed and mopped once everything above them is done. Baseboards are cleaned by hand along every wall, covering the line most visible to a landlord.

  4. Handover check and sign-off

A walkthrough with the original room notes confirms that every item has been addressed. The crew leaves only when the property passes its own internal check.

What the property looks like when we leave

Every inspection point a landlord or new tenant would check is addressed before the crew leaves.

Cupboard and appliance interiors cleaned

Every cabinet interior is wiped free of dust and residue. The oven and fridge are scrubbed inside, including the shelf tracks, door seals and rear corners.

Bathroom grout and fixtures descaled

Limescale is removed from tiles, fixtures and grout lines. What returns a clean white grout line instead of grey tells an inspector more than any surface wipe.

Floors and baseboards finished last

Bare floors are scrubbed and mopped once all elevated and wall-level work is complete. Baseboards are detailed along every wall so the floor-line reads clean.

Districts we cover

This service is available across residential areas including standalone villas, apartments and compound properties. The areas where bookings are accepted are listed below.

Questions worth asking first

You do not need to be on site while the work is underway. Providing access at the start and being available for the handover walkthrough at the end is enough. The crew checks every room before leaving and can flag anything that needs your attention.

A standard deep clean works around furniture. A move-in or move-out clean works on the spaces furniture previously hid: the back wall of cabinets, the area behind the fridge, the baseboard behind a wardrobe. The inspection points a landlord checks are the focus, not the visible surfaces.

AC filters are one of the first things a landlord checks and one of the most commonly missed spots. The service includes cleaning grilles and accessible filters. If the units need a deeper technical service, that is a separate job carried out by a technician.

The property can be handed over or occupied as soon as the crew finishes and the floors are dry. No chemical drying time or ventilation period beyond standard airing is needed, which the team handles by opening windows during the final stage.

Cabinet interiors are cleaned, not cleared. Any items remaining in cupboards or on shelves should be removed before the crew arrives so the full interior can be reached. If clearing is also needed, let us know when booking so it can be arranged.

Yes. Properties that have sat empty accumulate fine airborne dust on every horizontal surface, inside cabinets and along grout lines. The same staged approach applies: coarser removal first, fine dust second. The only difference is that the initial stages take more time.
