Board and assess the vessel
Before any water or product is applied, the team walks every surface to record staining, corrosion and areas needing a different method. This sets the order of work.

Exterior wash from hull to deck
Hull and deck are rinsed with fresh water to remove loose salt, then scrubbed with marine-safe product and rinsed clean. Portholes are cleaned at this stage.

Interior cabin and galley clean
Cabin surfaces, berths, galley and the marine head are cleaned in sequence, working from overhead surfaces downward so settled dust does not re-soil wiped surfaces below.

Fittings, check and handover
Stainless rails and deck hardware are wiped last so they are not re-soiled during cabin work. The owner is shown the completed vessel before the team leaves the berth.

Hull clear of salt and waterline stain
The hull surface below the rub rail is free of salt tide marks and the waterline band has been scrubbed clean. No mineral deposits remain on the gelcoat.
Cabin dry and free of odour
Interior surfaces are wiped dry and the galley and head have been cleaned and flushed. There is no residual moisture that would return as mildew in a closed cabin.
Fittings polished and stain-free
Stainless rails, cleats and portholes have been wiped down and are free of salt haze. The vessel is presentable at the berth without further preparation.

Questions worth asking first
The time depends on the yacht's size and the condition of its surfaces. A compact day-sailer in good condition takes less time than a larger cruiser with a full accommodation layout. The team gives a time estimate after boarding and assessing the vessel.
The team works at the berth where the yacht is moored, provided there is safe access to both sides of the hull and the dock has a fresh water supply. If access is restricted at the current berth, alternatives can be arranged.
Loose personal items, charts and valuables stored on surfaces make access easier when cleared. Fixed equipment, galley appliances and built-in furniture are worked around as part of the service. There is no structural preparation required.
The cleaning products used on hull and deck are selected to be safe for use in marinas. Bilge runoff during hull washing is minimised and the team follows local marina regulations on product disposal and rinse water management.
The service is appropriate for fibreglass, GRP and gelcoat hulls as well as teak decking. Different products and methods are used for each surface type. At the initial assessment, the team confirms the approach before any product is applied.
For hull work done with the vessel on a trailer or in a lift, the surfaces need to dry fully before re-launching. For in-water cleans at the berth, the vessel can be used immediately. The team confirms the ready time on completion.
